1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FundPeck ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. FundPeck reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a campaign or make a withdrawal. Users under 18 may browse campaigns and make donations with parental or guardian consent. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
3. Campaign Creation
Campaign creators are responsible for the accuracy of their campaign descriptions and the appropriate use of funds raised. Campaigns must not promote illegal activities, hate speech, violence, or any content that violates applicable laws. FundPeck reserves the right to remove, suspend, or flag any campaign that violates these terms.
4. Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions. FundPeck does not guarantee that funds will be used for any specific purpose. Donors make donations at their own risk. Donations are generally non-refundable unless the campaign is found to be fraudulent, in which case FundPeck will work with payment providers to process refunds where possible.
5. Fees & Withdrawals
FundPeck charges a platform fee of 2.5% on funds withdrawn from campaigns. Additional payment processing fees may apply as determined by our payment partners (Paystack, Stripe). Campaign creators must complete identity verification (KYC) before withdrawing funds. Withdrawals are processed to verified bank accounts or mobile money accounts.
6. Identity Verification
Campaign creators are required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before accessing withdrawal features. This process is conducted through our verification partner and may include document submission and identity checks. FundPeck reserves the right to suspend withdrawal access if verification is incomplete or failed.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users may not: create fraudulent campaigns; misrepresent the use of funds; use the platform for money laundering; attempt to circumvent security measures; harass other users; upload harmful content; or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
8. Intellectual Property
Content uploaded to campaigns (images, text, videos) remains the property of the uploader. By uploading content, you grant FundPeck a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content on the platform and in promotional materials. The FundPeck brand, logo, and platform design are owned by FundPeck.
9. Limitation of Liability
FundPeck is a platform that connects campaign creators with donors. We are not responsible for the actions of campaign creators or the use of funds raised. FundPeck is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees collected by FundPeck in connection with the relevant transaction.
10. Termination
FundPeck may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, any pending withdrawals may be held pending investigation. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
